From the desk of the self-appointed Advisor to the President of the United States
As a generalist with a wide range of interests including faith, sociology, science, communications, education, art, architecture, design, urban planning, agriculture, and environmental conservation, I want to offer an alternative perspective to the branded advertising industry that I have been trained in that sees people only in terms of consumer demographics and target markets. The greatest human needs are meaning, purpose, and a sense of belonging. I seek to tell the stories of those who are creating community by finding meaning, purpose, and belonging through the things that they make and the people they share their lives and work with.
